Minimum requirements for all positions:

  • Valid CA driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Negative TB test
  • Proof of MMR, VAR, TDaP immunizations
  • Clear background checks
  • Reliable vehicle and insurance
  • Ability to make a one year commitment
  • Ability to squat, kneel, run, and lift at least 50 lbs.

Therapist

 

Provide direct instruction in the home or school environment for children diagnosed with developmental delays. Implement skills teaching and behavior reduction plans as outlined by the Behavior Consultant. Therapists are required to work autonomously, collect data, implement with a high degree of fidelity, attend weekly team meetings, and collaborate with other team members.

 

Additional minimum requirements:

 

  • Enjoy enhancing the lives of children and their families
  • Basic knowledge of autism and applied behavior analytic principles
  • English reading and writing proficiency
  • Access to reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
  • Commitment to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician credential

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Enrollment or completion of college/university level coursework
  • Experience with ABA and working with children diagnosed with Autism

 

 

 Senior Therapist

 

Provide oversight and training to Therapists, and model interventions by working directly with clients. Work collaboratively with Behavior Consultants and Senior Behavior Consultants, providing weekly updates regarding each client’s program and progress. Assist in collecting and analyzing data, and conducting initial and ongoing training to all team members.

 

Additional minimum requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an ABA in-home environment
  • College/university-level coursework in ABA
  • Employment for a minimum of 6 months, with record of good performance

 

 

 Behavior Consultant

 

Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, provide consultation, ensure appropriate programming and progression according to individual client needs, provide training and support directly to individuals diagnosed with various disabilities across multiple service models, including autism services, behavior intervention, and care homes. Train, support, oversee, and manage personnel providing direct instruction in the home and school environments. Train, support, oversee, and manage Senior Therapists. Provide parent training in ABA and the implementation of lessons as they relate to clients’ deficits and excesses.

 

Additional minimum requirements:

  • B.A. in psychology or related field
  • Formal training (i.e., coursework and experience) in ABA and knowledge of errorless learning procedures
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience developing and overseeing behavior analytic intervention
  • Minimum of a 2-3 year commitment

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Coursework and supervision requirements for BCaBA completed, or BCaBA certified
  • Experience with parent training and staff/performance management
  • Knowledge of typical development desirable

 

 

Senior Behavior Consultant

 

Provide initial and ongoing training and supervision to Behavior Consultants in addition to providing direct feedback, modeling, suggestions, and ensuring the overall integrity and quality of each client’s treatment program, in alignment with current behavior analytic literature and established best practices. Individuals in this position are highly involved in program and company development, designing materials, and conducting professional development training endeavors.

 

Additional minimum requirements:

  • M.A. or M.S. in ABA, psychology, or related field; coursework and supervision requirements for BCBA completed
  • Formal training in ABA and knowledge of errorless learning procedures, programming for generalization, programming for generativity and maintenance, performance management
  • Experience supervising treatment programs providing behavior analytic intervention
  • Minimum of a 2-3 year commitment

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • BCBA certified
  • Knowledge of typical development desirable
  • Experience providing supervision to others seeking certification at the BCaBA or BCBA level
  • Willingness to complete 8-hour supervisor training and BACB supervisor module, per BACB’s requirements

 

 

Behavior Analyst

 

Complete Senior Behavior Consultant responsibilities for assigned cases, as described above, across a reduced caseload. Assist the Program Director with: providing quality assurance across all client programs, the ongoing development and refinement of Behavior Consultant and Senior Behavior Consultant skill sets, the ongoing supervision of interns and staff completing requirements for certification, chairing projects committees, initiating and completing research projects, and participating in peer-review committees.

 

Additional minimum requirements:

  • M.A. or M.S. in ABA, psychology, or related field
  • BCBA credential
  • Must have already functioned independently and satisfactorily as a Senior Behavior Consultant for a minimum of 12 months
  • Majority support for promotion from peers and supervisees
  • Willingness to complete 8-hour supervisor training and supervisor module, per BACB’s requirements
